UIU grading system
UIU uses a custom 4.0 scale with 11 grade steps: A (90–100) = 4.00 down to F (below 55) = 0.00, with fractional points (A- = 3.67, B+ = 3.33, B- = 2.67, C+ = 2.33, C- = 1.67, D+ = 1.33). The fail line at 55% is higher than many Bangladeshi universities — a 56% is a D (1.00), but 54% is an F (0.00).
