About the BRACU CGPA Calculator
Top private university with its own detailed 12-grade point structure — different from UGC.
BRAC University (BRACU) — one of Bangladesh's top private universities, now at its Merul Badda campus in Dhaka — uses a distinctive 12-grade scale that rewards top performers with an A+ band starting at 97%. Few Bangladeshi universities publish this many grade steps, and the fine 2–5 mark bands mean small score differences change your grade points. What BRACU students should know
BRACU's scale is unusual: both A+ (97–100) and A (90–96) earn 4.00 points, so the A+ is a distinction without extra GPA weight — but the bands below are narrow, and a 1-mark slip near a boundary can cost 0.3–0.4 grade points. BRACU runs a credit system with continuous assessment (quizzes, assignments, midterms, finals) feeding one final letter per course; enter that final letter here. Always verify against your USIS/registrar record before result day.

BRACU grading system
BRAC University publishes a 12-grade 4.0 scale — more granular than most Bangladeshi universities. A+ (97–100) and A (90–96) both earn 4.00 grade points. Mid bands are tight: B+ (80–84) = 3.30, C (60–64) = 2.00, D (52–54) = 1.00, and anything below 52% is an F at 0.00. Because bands are narrow, borderline marks matter more at BRACU than at universities with wide bands.

Percentage conversion
BRACU transcripts show letter grades and CGPA. The common CGPA × 25 shortcut is not BRACU-certified — for jobs, visas, or foreign applications, request an official transcript or conversion letter from the BRACU registrar.
